WINDSOR ANTIQUES ROAD EVALUATION SHOW (W.A.R.E.S)
The Windsor & Hawkesbury Antiques and Collectables Trail invites you to take along your treasures and collectables to the Windsor Antiques Road Evaluation Show (WARES) on Saturday 3rd March 2007. Local antique business owners will be on hand to share their knowledge and evaluate such items as jewellery, antiques, collectables, books and furniture. John Williams from John Williams Auctions will also be on hand to answer questions about selling valuables at auction. A range of antiques and collectables will be available for sale as well as a number of the Carters popular antiques, art and collectables price guides. Entry is free and a gold coin fee applies to each item that is evaluated; maximum of 10 items. WARES is being held at the Hawkesbury Regional Gallery in the Deerubbin Centre, 300 George Street Windsor and will run from 10.00am to 3.00pm. The Goulburn Valley Antiques Fair is returning again to Shepparton in a new venue with a host of new professional dealers as well as your old favourites Change of venue -St Georges Road Primary School is situated at 120 St Georges Rd Shepparton ( off Benalla Rd, opposite the showgrounds). Shepparton Vic Georgian and Victorian jewellery, English and European porcelain, silver, glass, linen, clocks, lamps and furniture, both rustic and traditional will be displayed with great care and pride, the dealers themselves endeavouring to supply as much information as possible to help the collector. The Goulburn Valley Antiques Fair is open to the public from 10am until 6pm on Friday 16th and Saturday 17th March and from 10am until 4pm on Sunday 18th March. Annual Antique and Collectables Fair Event
The annual QADA Antique & Collectables Fair has moved from Brisbane City Hall due to reconstruction of King George Square.
This year it will be staged in the Royal National Association's Commerce Building, Gregory Terrace, Brisbane.
It will be bigger & brighter than ever with all members exhibiting special items saved exclusively for the Fair together with a number of invited local & interstate guest exhibitors and associated trade exhibitors.
There will be a Special Opening Night Preview on Thursday 24 May 2007.
